  • Hello Europe!
    A Challenging Year
    Faith is what nurtures tenacity
Tenacity is what makes dreams become realities

This year was a demanding and challenging year. It brought the best, the worst and made us 100% alive for sure. We are certainly grateful to the Americans for teaching us how to stay positive and keep going. We needed that all year and finally the results are starting to show. Socially a nice environment, professionally wise it is rough over here. Still, our entusiasm and optimism is at its finest. Vive la vie!

We are welcoming a new member of the family, Eclipse the tornado! We are also grateful to the girls' amazing ability to adapt and focus on the present. In summary:

  • The big winners are the grand parents
  • We harvested 400 pounds of apricots!
  • The girls are behaving like champs at school, in tennis and in arts
  • Hervé is traveling a lot to Paris
  • Annick is helping Hervé with his booming executive coaching business
  • We visited Marseille, Italy and spent 2 weeks in San Francisco
  • Annick's birthday party in September was a total blast, reuniting friends we had not seen in over 20 years - big emotions.

Our short trip back to the San Francisco bay area for Halloween was certainly a wonderful way to re-connect and complete a full circle. This year ahead will be about making our move to Europe a bet that we have won and we will continue to visit new lands. Let us even hope to visit Africa in 2006! The journey continues ...
